| As for the previous edition, six finalists companies - on more than fifty initially - were selected by a jury of fifteen people. The nominated companies must provide evidence of their performances over the time, but also demonstrate a contribution in terms of innovation and regional growing. The objective is to ensure a balance between the quantitative and qualitative factors. Among the criteria include the business creativity, the quality of staff and management. Candidates are examined in three phases on the basis of their key figures, an in-depth interview with their leadership and a visit to their facilities by all members of the jury.
