| We assure within the framework of new equipment, the certification of complete systems (electrical, mechanical and process approach). Since 30th June 2003 it is legally determined that all products used in areas with potential danger for gas- or dust explosions have to fulfil the requirements of the ATEX directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95).
Concerning the legal requirements within the framework of revamping of equipment, it is determined that the workplaces in use before 30th June 2003, including potential danger for gas- or dust explosions, have to fulfil the minimum requirements of the ATEX directive 1999/92/EC (ATEX 137) at least 3 years after this date. All the workplaces that have been modified after 30th June 2003 have also to fulfil the minimum requirements of the directive ATEX 137.
